This is not my mom's recipe. My neighbor's domestic help is a good cook. I used to buy papaya's flower and Ike Tilapia and gave to her to cook for me...How do I know that she's a good cook? Cuz my neighbor used to give me some of her helper's cookings... but now she's gone... :(. She got married and got pregnant and went bank to Medan...no more scrumptious food and two-hour massage every week...she's a good masseur too...<br />

Selepas tu masukkan ike yang telah digoreng ke dalam sambal tumis...gaul rata..<br />

Bonda mempunyai sifat empathy yang tinggi. Pahit manis suka duka hidupnya tidak pernah melunturkan diri beliau dari berbuat baik kepada sesiapa saja termasuk orang-orang yang menghinanya...najis dibalas bonda dengan bunga.<br />

Tidak pernah Ummi temui seseorang yang menjaga ibu dan bapa mertua sebaik bonda. Masih Ummi ingat selama lebih kurang 3 bulan, datuk Ummi sakit sebelum menghembuskan nafas terakhir...Bonda akan sentiasa berada di sisi bapa mertuanya...menjaga makan, minum, memandikan, membersihkan datuk dari najis kecil dan besar, mengambilkan wuduk atuk ...dan bonda akan tidur di sisi atuk supaya atuk tidak kesejukan pabila malam....datuk juga tidak boleh berenggang dari bonda....jika bonda meninggalkan beliau sekejap, atuk akan bertanya...atuk juga tidak boleh makan makanan selain dari makanan yang dimasak bonda...<br />

Kalau ada saudara mara atuk yang datang melawat beliau, atuk akan memuji-muji bonda....kata atuk, menantunya ini tidak ada walau 1 dalam seribu...pada malam sebelum atuk meninggal dunia, atuk bangun untuk mengambil wuduk di kolah sedangkan paip air sudah ada di sisi beliau...bonda perasan atuk tiada di sisi bonda setelah atuk jatuh depan pintu surau. Bonda cepat-cepat dapatkan atuk dan bonda dukung atuk dan letakkan atuk ditempat tidur beliau....beberapa hari sebelum atuk meninggal, atuk hilang upaya memahami waktu...atuk merasakan masa terlalu lambat berjalan, jadi beliau akan solat hampir setiap jam...atuk tidak mengerti walaupun bonda menegaskan bahawa atuk sudah menunaikan solat....atuk meninggal dunia ketika dia mengangkat takbir untuk bersolat untuk entah kali keberapa...Bonda adalah satu-satunya orang yang berada di sisi atuk ketika beliau menghembuskan nafas terakhir...<br />

<ul><li>Beras siam wangi dibasuh dan direndam lebih kurang 5 jam...kalau menggunakan beras lembut yang berwarna merah, rendam selama 2-3 jam.</li>
<li>Kukus beras sehingga naik wap...selepas tu, tuangkan nasi ke dalam besen dan gaulkan nasi dengan air atau santan cair. Kukus nasi untuk kali kedua.</li>
<li>Setelah nasi masak dan lembut, angkat dan tuangkan ke dalam besen</li>
<li>Gaul nasi dengan santan yang telah dimasak bersama bahan-bahan yang dimayang halus</li>

My mom is the greatest mom ever...She got married at the age of 14 and my father was 21 years old. Even though she didn't go to school but she is smart enough to teach herself how to read and write. At the age of 15, she gave birth to my sister and 2 years later, I was born. <br />
<br />
She came from a very poor family. I still remember my grandparents home...we had to walk carefully cuz we might break my grandparents floor, which was made of wooden plank, and fell to the ground. My father came from a quite well to do family. When they got married, my dad already had 2 kids from his previous marriage. At the tender age of 14, my mom already had an instant family. <br />

Even though she was young but she was able to raise us to be good individuals...My big sister graduated from a local university and now work as a project manager in a construction company, I traveled to the other side of the globe and had studied there for 6 years....and after that I continued my education up to PhD level. My kid sister studied in local university and now she owns her own clinic and practice medicine...My kid brother is now works as a system analyst, and my other kid sister now owns her own bakery and catering business. My youngest brother is still pursuing his interest in multi-media...<br />
